Individual Therapy

I support individuals with the heart-led modality Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP); a trauma-focused and attachment-based therapy that supports emotional healing through the power of safe, authentic connection. AEDP understands emotions as the primary site of healing and transformation, inviting us into deeper emotional experiences where meaningful change takes root through connection, and the experience of being fully felt.

Together, we’ll create a secure therapeutic relationship and gently explore the protective parts of you - those wise and necessary strategies that helped you survive. With care and compassion, we’ll make space for your emotional experiences to emerge, supporting a shift from disconnection toward greater self-understanding, confidence, and connection.

My work is also informed by training in:

  • A mindfulness-based, behavioural therapy, ACT brings an emphasis on values, presence, and acceptance.

  • This therapy integrates a social justice lens, honours the stories you carry and the systems that shape them.

  • Somatic work offers body-based insight; through tuning into the body and listening to what is felt and making meaning and insight from the body’s wisdom.

Trauma Therapy

I understand that trauma impacts many aspects of our lives and relationships. I work with folks who have experienced trauma by co-creating a container where we can gently and safely begin to explore difficult emotions and reconnect to sensations in the body. We’ll work to listen to important messages coming from the nervous system, learn new skills to increase capacity to be with what arises, and reconnect to who you are and what’s important to you.

I also recognize that we cannot talk about trauma without talking about the collective trauma experienced as a result of living under systems of injustice. The ongoing impacts of such discriminatory systems must be named, addressed, and attended to in working with trauma in our therapeutic relationship.

2SLGBTQ+ Counselling

As a queer and non-binary counsellor, I understand the importance of accessing knowledgable gender and sexuality affirming counselling. I also understand that our community is diverse, and that each of our experiences vary in important ways. I take an intersectional stance that honours that multiple stressors impact our lives, and that race, class, age, ethnic or cultural identity, and disability all interact with our genders and sexualities and inform our experiences.

In our work together, I hope to offer a soft landing, a place to gently explore how you wish to be in relationship with yourself, with others, and with the world at large.

Neurodiversity Affirming

My approach is rooted in a deep respect for neurodivergence in all its forms.

I strive to create a space that meets your sensory, communication, and relational needs. Whether you’re navigating masking, burnout, executive function challenges, sensory overwhelm, or simply seeking more ease and self-understanding, our work will be shaped by respect for your ways of thinking, feeling, and being in the world.

It’s also important for our work to be shaped by the unique wisdom you bring to your own experience, including the powerful ways you navigate and resist ableist systems. I hope our work together can offer a kind of refuge: a place to gently support exploring a deeper connection to your authentic self.

Therapy for Teens

My hope is that the therapy space is one where you can show up however you are and know that all of you is welcome. I know how exciting, confusing and transformative this time can be; so full of longing and questions.

Together, we’ll create a space where your struggles can be met with warmth and curiosity, and where the parts of you that feel blocked or weighed down can be understood and held. My approach is gentle and easy-going, both straightforward and playful, inviting you to explore who you are and how you want to move in the world.
